This blanket has been made by Teixidors in collaboration with John Pawson. It has been spun, woven, dyed and made in an artisan way in Terrassa (Barcelona) by people with learning disabilities using manual wooden looms. It is made from wool: 50% eco-friendly Merino wool and 50% Baby Yak worsted wool. The dyes used are 80% organic and natural. The process is fully traceable and 100% transparent.

    The Tile blanket was made in an artisan way by people with learning difficulties. It is 50% eco-friendly Merino wool and 50% Baby Yak worsted wool. Behind this blanket is Teixidors, a social project that has been running for over 35 years with the aim of facilitating social integration and economic independence for these people.


    The Tile collection has been produced by Teixidors in collaboration with British designer and architect John Pawson.


    A blanket woven and made by hand on 19th century looms by Teixidors expert craftsmen. Since it’s a completely manual process, every piece is unique and special, whether this be due to a backstitch or a special characteristic of the fabric.

    This is a delicate, timeless piece from Teixidors, exquisite to the touch and made to last. To look after it best, we recommend that you hand wash it or have it dry cleaned.


    National delivery is free of charge. If you’re in Europe, delivery costs 8 euros, and 25 euros if you’re in another part of the world. As long as the product is in stock, delivery takes approximately one week. If the product is not in stock, delivery could take up to one month, but we will let you know if this is the case.
