Upcycling (creative reuse)

Upcycling consists of the creative reuse of materials destined to becoming waste products, by giving them a new use and converting them into a new product. Instead of producing new raw materials from scratch, materials that have been discarded but which are still very useful are salvaged and converted into new eco-design products.
