The heavy fabric is left over upholstery fabric. It also has metal appliqués.

All the leather and textiles used are surplus materials from factories in and around Alcoy. Coba Complements collects materials that have been discarded and gives them a new life by creating quality items. Between 80% and 100% of the raw materials are bought in a 30km radius, thereby boosting the local economy and reducing emissions.

Multifunctional backpack that can be transformed into an over the shoulder bag whenever you need. It was designed by hand in Alcoy using upholstery textiles discarded in factories in the area.

It closes with a clasp.

It has adjustable straps that adapt to you, both when the bag is used as a backpack and when it is used as an over the shoulder bag. It also has 3 pockets: 1 on the outside and 2 on the inside.

Coba Complements designs patterns according to the zero waste philosophy, so scales the textiles to be sure to use 100% of the fabric. As the leather has irregular shapes, they design the back section in order to be able to fit all the pieces and make the most of everything. The leftovers are kept for future jewellery collections.

The products are made using a number of machines: pedal, dual feed or triple feed, according to requirements.

In the Forhim designs, there are some elements that are sewn by hand due to the size being made. The lower clasp, positioning of the magnets and stitching are done by hand.

Care instructions

We don’t recommend using the washing machine but the textile section can be hand washed. For the leather, we recommend that you use leather cream. Avoid using the tumble dryer and bleach. Just in case, take care with contact with fabrics or surfaces that contrast significantly in colour with the accessory, as it could become discoloured or stained.

If you’re on the Iberian Peninsula, the delivery of the bag is free. If you’re in Europe, it will cost 20 euros and in the rest of the world, 35. If you’re in Alcoy, you can also choose to the local pick-up option. Orders are prepared in 24-48 working hours and are delivered in 5-7 working days after this.
